The Project

Water is important. Water is a human right. Water, in its many complex dimensions such as its sanitation, access, and proper management is under threat from many different things. There are solutions. We're learning about it in Honduras and in Canada and we are inspiring other youth to get involved. That's what Sources-Fuentes is all about.

In this blog we will document our experiences in Canada and in Honduras, our challenges, and our successes.

Spending 3 weeks in Canada, and 8 weeks in Honduras, the team of 6 experienced youth water leaders are learning about water issues and public engagement in both countries. From these diverse experiences, the team is developing an educative tool to be provided to youth leaders in many communities in the form of workshops and a workshop guide. We will empower other youth to replicate these workshops in their own communities and in other countries where Canada World Youth has inter-cultural exchanges.
